Dr. Kevin Lie

Meet Dr. Kevin T. Lie, a distinguished interventional radiologist and the primary specialist at Georgia Prostate Institute. With over two decades of expertise, Dr. Lie is recognized as a frontrunner in delivering minimally invasive solutions for prostate conditions. His focus lies in prostate artery embolization (PAE), an advanced technique known for its exceptional outcomes and swift recovery.

Dr. Lie's expertise in PAE has led to impressive outcomes, combining advanced technology with personalized care. His commitment to customizing procedures for each patient has established him as a compassionate and dependable provider.

Michaela Allen, PA-C

Michaela Allen, PA-C is a South Carolina native with a love for life-long learning. She received her Bachelor of Science in exercise and sports science at Coastal Carolina University and very briefly, attended South Carolina State University for post-baccalaureate benefit, before becoming a Georgia peach and earning her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the illustrious Morehouse School of Medicine in metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia. She is currently a Doctor of Medical Science student at Shenandoah University in which she is eager to expand her skills in leadership, clinical research, and education.

Although Michaela has a background in urgent care medicine, she has a special passion for the care and management of vascular diseases. Her areas of expertise are very diverse, including but not limited to venous disease, peripheral arterial disease, uterine fibroids, benign prostatic hyperplasia, hemorrhoids, and knee osteoarthritis. Michaela also has a deeply rooted love for women’s health and strives to improve healthcare literacy and standards regarding patient advocacy.

She takes pride in providing exceptional patient care and building long-lasting relationships with her patients and leading the creation of health equity. Her desire to apply innovative medicine through technological advances speaks volumes to her character.

Residing in South Atlanta, Michaela prioritizes family time, identifying as a wife and a girl mom. Outside of work she enjoys HIIT and cycling group fitness classes, traveling the world, and sometimes (depending on the year) cheering for her favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys.

Alyssa Patel, Physician Assistant

Meet Alyssa, a compassionate healthcare provider dedicated to enhancing patient well-being. Though originally from Jacksonville, Alyssa's heart belongs to Georgia, where she was raised and intends to stay. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and Psychology from the esteemed University of Georgia before pursuing her Master’s of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Lincoln Memorial University School of Medical Science, graduating summa cum laude.

With a foundation in emergency medicine and urgent care experience, Alyssa has developed a keen interest in the management of vascular diseases. Alyssa's commitment to patient care shines through in every interaction as she strives to provide the highest quality of care.

When she's not caring for patients, Alyssa resides in West Midtown with her husband, cherishing moments with loved ones and exploring the vibrant culture and cuisine of the city. An avid traveler and Georgia Bulldogs enthusiast, Alyssa's fondest memories include journeys to Egypt with her aunt and a memorable three-week exploration of Italy, from the rolling hills of Tuscany to the breathtaking Amalfi coast, with her husband.
